Burrous Brothers has consistently received highest ratings from the Bay Area Consumers Checkbook, a non-profit consumer magazine that rates Bay Area services. Since 1987 they have rated Bay Area carpet cleaning firms four times and in 1987 we received the highest overall rating of all the carpet cleaning firms rated. In 1994, we were the only firm to receive 100% in all categories (no other company has ever before or since ever received such a high rating), and in 1998 our company received the highest rating of all the carpet cleaning firms rated in the Bay Area. Well-trained technicians
All of our technicians receive extensive training with an apprenticeship program before they come to your home. Burrous Brothers training encompasses technical knowledge with a true understanding of the importance of care, courtesy and professionalism. Only well trained courteous technicians will arrive to clean your carpet, area rugs, upholstery, stone, tile and grout. We will take extra care in handling your belongings and special caution will be exercised to protect your walls, furnishings, and delicate surfaces. Our technicians are bonded and we are properly insured.

Carpet Cleaning
Our unique Clean and Rinse, Truck-Mounted Hot Water Extraction process begins with the application of a safe cleaning solution onto your carpet to loosen the soil. The technician will skillfully spray a specially formulated hot rinsing solution on the carpet. The solution is immediately vacuumed out of the carpet fibers by our powerful truck-mounted cleaning unit before it reaches the backing of your carpet. Carpets will be well rinsed with excess moisture removed. Spots and stains will be properly treated. Your carpets will be left properly pH balanced and essentially residue free. Concerns of re-soiling and spots resurfacing are virtually eliminated. Our advanced techniques are the most effective at removing dust mites and allergens. No other system will get your carpets cleaner or more sanitary. Our system is safe for cleaning all types of carpets including wool and stain resistant carpets such as STAINMASTER®.

Note: may not be appropriate for some plant fibers such as sisal, jute and seagrass.

Area Rug Cleaning
Using similar procedures as with carpet cleaning, most area rugs including oriental style rugs can be conveniently, economically and safely cleaned in place at your home.

Upholstery Cleaning
We use the latest cleaning techniques to remove as much soil as safely possible. Your upholstery will be left free of damaging residues that can cause rapid re-soiling or allergic reactions. Our technicians are trained and experienced in cleaning all types of fabrics including cotton, silk and linen.

Carpet, Area Rug and Upholstery Protection
Once your carpet, area rugs and upholstery have been cleaned the applications of fiber protection, such as Stainshield Professional® will extend the life of your carpet and upholstery by reducing re-soiling and the chances of permanent staining. Much like wax on a cars finish or Teflon on a pan, a fabric protector coats each fiber, protecting against all types of liquid spills and dry soil.

Liquids tend to bead up on the surface for easier removal and soil particles do not cling to fibers, making dry vacuuming more effective. Even stain resistant carpets such as STAINMASTER™ need to have their protection rejuvenated. Some warranties require that your carpets be cleaned and re-protected within every 18 months.

Stone, Tile and Grout Cleaning
Proper care and maintenance of stone, tile and grout can increase the longevity and beauty of these hard surfaces. Burrous Brothers can clean these hard surfaces more effectively using our powerful truck-mounted, hot water extraction equipment adapted with special tools. We use only the finest, safest and most effective products available. Your stone, tile and grout will get cleaner and more sanitary than with any other method.

Stone, Tile and Grout Protection
Most stone and grout, and some tiles are very susceptible to staining. Burrous Brothers Company can properly apply a sealant-protector to reduce staining and insure easy daily maintenance. We conduct our own testing of sealant protectors and application procedures, this to insure that you receive the best protection available.

Your complete satisfaction is extremely important to us. We promise to do the very best job possible, and if you are not completely satisfied with our work we will come back and re-clean any areas that you request. If spots return within one month we will come back at no charge.
